Featuring a 100% recycled and PFC free outer for weather and down proofing, 750 white goose down fill for maximum insulation and abrasion resistant. This is the go-to for static activity in freezing conditions.

It combines a tightly woven face fabric with a microporous coating to deliver a very high level of water resistance, whilst remaining lightweight, soft and breathable. Its structure also prevents down shedding, keeping as much insulation as possible within the baffles of the jacket. The fabric is high in tear strength and retains a high level of water repellency after repeated wash and wear. Now in a 100% recycled and PFC free construction, it bears greater sustainability credentials than the previous model – all without compromising on performance.

We’ve used a blend fabric to reinforce the shoulders on our down Jacket, an area that typically experiences greater wear and tear when carrying a backpack on expeditions.

The longer line and boxier fit, makes it ideal outer layer for throwing over a lighter belay jacket once a period of activity is over for maximum insulation during cooldown. In terms of features, this down Jacket now bears a full zip-through design, improving on feedback relating to wearability of the first generation design (which was an overhead smock). An adjustable, insulated hood with elasticated pull cord can be cinched tight to maximize heat retention and helps aid visibility in strong winds whilst sheltering the face from sleet, rain and snow. A raised neckline provides further face coverage in torrid conditions. Four external, micro fleece lined pockets, on the chest and waist provide both storage capacity and hand warming with an internal, zipped chest pocket and two stuff pouches for added measure. A stitch through baffle design helps minimize weight and optimise breathability helping it to balance weather resistance and expedition readiness. Elasticated cuffs keep the sleeves taut to the wrists, minimising cold ingress and an elasticated waist drawstring mitigates the same. With a two way, YKK Aqua guard zip for added accessibility and oversized zip pulls for easy operation when wearing gloves or mittens. With bespoke Thru Dark “wolf” camo liner.
